Norse Projects Watch Cap

Copenhagen's Norse Projects has made the perfect version of the watch cap style beanie this season. The beautiful knit hat is made of 100% Italian merino lambswool and has a great hand as well as nice weight. The yarn used for these beanies took the dye colors that Norse Projects used amazingly, they feature a very subtle heathering. I also love the minimalist nautical themed patched featured on the hats.

Check them out.

Outlier Tailored Performance

Founded a couple years back by Abe Burmeister and Tyler Clemens, Outlier is a performance clothing company based in Williamsburg Brooklyn. The first piece the guys made was a pair of pants designed for bike commuting, and has since evolved into a much more complete collection. They want to make the clothing of the future (but not in a Dark Sith way) and the guys are passionate about delivering a great end product at an affordable price. They produce in New York and use domestic and imported fabrics, finding the best for their products. Everything the guys make is super accesible price wise and aesthetically while remaining well made and cool. I have one of their Northeast Pivot Shirts and its a great fit with sweet ass subtle details such as how the sleeve is set in.

When you get a chance check out the brand and support the guys. Website

Spring Buyer's Guide: Italian Linen Scarf by Acne

Stockholm based Acne produced a classic for their spring collection, a linen scarf. The Italian made scarf is dyed an amazing streaky smokey blue. A good light weight scarf is always a hard fine and never as easy to make as it would seem, hats off to Acne for hitting the nail on the head with their offering.

Available at The Corner.

Boris Bidjan Saberi SS2011

I've always liked Boris and his work, I think his fabric selections are some of the best around and now this video surfaces and I love it. I think his SS2011 looks great and has a bit more of an edge to it than previous efforts. The video is beyond rad so check it out.

Good Bye Old Friend

This week marked the final week of life for Number (N)ine, I received the notice in my email Christmas morning. I went to the store several times in the last couple days to stock up and basically pay my respects to a designer's (Takahiro Miyashita) brand which has been a huge inspiration to me and my career trajectory.

....i miss the comfort of being sad....
