Who Am Eyeare friends and a favorite from Melbourne and this is great small sneak preview of their AW09 (southern hemisphere) collection. As has been the case over the course of the last couple seasons Who Am Eye has progressed into an always solid and stunning collection. Chaos Never Died features pieces that can easily be incorporated into most any wardrobe. Check it out.
Chronicles Of Never's man with the plan Gareth Moody presented his latest collection to us this past week in new LES shopping destination Assembly. Moody's collection was accompanied by his art work which adorned the walls of the narrow space. Archetype showroom helped out with throwing the event which was boozed up by Svedka Vodka and Newcastle Ale so you know it was a good time.

Our stylish and trendsetting friends down under begin their fashion week this week and some of our friends will be throwing some parties and doing some runway presentations. We can't wait to show whats in store from Beat Poet and Who Am Eye. Check back as we should have this updated this week.
Just a couple things about the boys from down under. As some may know I have a soft spot for Aussie/NZ brands and Who Am Eye is one of the collections that has secured a spot with me. I had the please of meeting one half of the team this past week here in New York. Johnny Leong is half of the brains and vision of this up and coming brand and he brought with him some preview pieces of SS 08/09(remember southern hemisphere lives in a backwards world of seasons) collection entitled "Love Will Tear Us Apart". Let me tell you these samples were simply fantastic there is no other way to put it. I will scan the look book and give some descriptions when I can, you will not be disappointed. We're hoping to work together Johhny and my self to bring Who Am Eye to the states and if that occurs kids it will tear you clean out of your Ksubi attire in a heartbeat. This collection they are presenting for SS08/09 is so versatile while remaining remarkably cohesive and direct with their vision.
Beat Poet is the German founded Melbourne based fashion collection currently making waves in Australia. I have found my self constantly looking to the land down under at all of the great stuff coming out of there such as Who Am Eye and Stolen Girl Friends Club (actually based out of New Zealand). I just checked out Beat Poet's most recent collection and I must say its fantastic collection called R.U.I.N.S. and is for the Southern Hemisphere's AW08 season. Check out Beat Poet here.
