I made some purchases recently, I'm very happy with them both. 
The first is a pair of semi gloss off white Comme Des Garcons Shirt rubber soled oxfords. I love these shoes, they are comfortable, eye catching, and surprisingly versatile. I believe they were from last fall's collection but I'm likely to be wrong. 
The second purchase is a beautiful Number (N)ine cotton cashmere tank top in charcoal. I suspect I will get too much wear out of it this summer. This tank is perfect to be worn as a layering piece and I must say alone as well which was a pleasant surprise. I love the weight and cut of this piece and am contemplating purchasing another.
I still need to have my computer repaired though.
My laptop has been down. I hate it.

Well they did it again. The guys behind Stolen Girlfriends Club have out done them selves this season. The New Zealand line showed at the recent Australian Fashion Week, and they passed along their most recent look book to me as well. Stolen Girlfriends Club came out and mixed it up with their fabrics using silks, Italian woven cottons, coated denim, and lambskin. Its not just the fabrics they used but its how they used them, I will post some pictures very soon so check back for them on Monday May 12th.

'Sup Magazine has been around for a while now quietly churning out interview based self published magazines for the music world. I found the most recent copy of 'Sup located conveniently at Nom De Guerre and have read it from back to front I highly recommend trying to find a copy of this well put together (FREE!)magazine and checking it out. This most recent issue contains interviews of some of indie music's darlings such as The Kills, Band Of Horses, Bat For Lashes, just to name a few. So yea get on that.
"NOT SO FAST: Sources said talks between representatives of Renzo Rosso of Diesel and Hedi Slimane took place as recently as this past weekend, but Slimane's people insist no deal has been made — and may never be. Following reports Slimane may be tapped to design Diesel's new Red Collection, one of his representatives told WWD that the former Dior Homme creative director has "no interest at all in Renzo Rosso's group, let alone Diesel." -WWD
Thank god, that would have completely cheapened the allure of Hedi's work and aesthetic as an artist and designer. I hope things progress between Slimane and LVMH so we can see his work in motion again.
For some reason I've been listening to a lot of No Age, both of their discs "Wierdo Rippers" and soon to be released "Nouns" there is something about both cds that just does for me. They really are the sound of summer to me for some reason. Anyways good times, makes me wanna just sit out at the picnic table and hang out all day.
