Justice @ The Troc

Justice came to Philadelphia last night.
They came.
They saw.
They fucking conquered. The duo tore the room apart, they played a great set always building and building right until the end, leaving you wanting more. Damn, well done, this hard set was laced with a ton of dirty decay and pulled around the room with the deep thrashing bass lines. Justice had the room moving from the minute they took the set to the minute they left the stage.
Sorry for the small image it was the best that would work, check Flikr user trishylicious for some more full size images.

Red Bull has taken over Philadelphia billboards in 30th St. Station are covered in the "Red Bull Art Of The Can" billboards, the streets are swarmed with Red Bull Cooper Minis, you can escape Red Bull the past couple weeks. All this leads up to the Art Of The Can event at FUEL Gallery taking place until November 2nd with the opening party this evening. It should be interesting, we'll see how it goes.

TheCast x Rolling Stone
TheCast has been making quick moves since coming to New York a couple years ago with a little more than a couple hundred bucks between the two guys, they now are being featured in Rolling Stone. This has been a big year for the label as they had their first ever runway show earlier this fall as I covered previously. Pick up the latest RS and check it out.

Old City Art: Blaine Fontana & Aiko

So the past two months Lineage Gallery in Old City has had showings of a couple artists I really enjoy, Blaine Fontana last month and now Aiko (ex- Faile collective). Great stuff from both artists. I actually just picked up Blaine's book, its a small book but does a good job of showing the stages his work, I suggest everyone check it out. I picked it up at Strand on Broadway south of Union Square cause I love that place, but most book retailers are stocking it I believe.

New Art
Philippe and I have created a new art form to counter the hordes of "artists" who practice such advances styles of "art" that you're forced to just scratch your head and wonder. The art I speak of is styles such as radio art, post modern living sculpture, and the list goes on. Philippe and I have created Social Art, now social art is both terribly complex while maintaining the simpleness found in macaroni glue art. I can not explain this art form because you must find your own understand of it before you can part take in it. This my friends is art at the highest of calibers. So yea that sums up yesterdays walks around Manhattan. I hope this makes no sense at all which would make this literally art, ok enough art bashing, I enjoy art I just struggle with the way people try to portray their art and what not, so yea. I'm done making absolutely no sense.
EDIT. just realized there is a genre called social art already, well fuck.
